→ Pour aller plus loin : Le skate vend 1,1 milliard de dollars — et ton shop ferme : à qui la faute ?
The Nike SB x Rassvet Zoom Tennis Classic dropped on June 30, 2026: 110 € direct from the Rassvet webstore, 115 dollars on SNKRS. An 80s tennis silhouette Nike SB had left rotting in a corner of the catalog, pulled back out by a skate brand born in Moscow. And the detail nobody saw coming: the sole ships already burnt.
Not « vintage » like some oven-yellowed retro. Actually burnt. A black coating laid over a Sail sole that peels away bit by bit the more you skate. Three weeks after the drop, the first pairs are starting to tell a story — and that’s exactly where this gets interesting.
The Sole Wears Off As You Skate: The Only Design Move That Matters Here

Rassvet’s official product page doesn’t dance around it: the black coating over the Sail sole « is revealed through skating » and leaves « a unique trace of wear ». Translation for us: after two weeks on the ledge, your pair looks nothing like the next guy’s. It looks like your sessions. That’s the exact opposite of the sneakerhead reflex — here the value goes up when you wreck them.
Nike SB put out a Behind The Design clip with Anatoly Titaev in late June, and the logic in it is dead simple. The Tennis Classic was never built for a board. It ended up on boards because dudes were already wearing them, in the street, for no reason. Rassvet just puts the dial back where it was.
You know the smell. Fresh leather, glue, foam. You pull the pair out of the box on a Friday night, lace them up Saturday morning, and by the third kickflip attempt the grip has already eaten the leather on the toe. There’s always that dumb little pause where you stare at the white scuff, wondering if you should’ve kept the old ones on for the session. Then you stop looking and you skate. This shoe is designed for that exact moment. Except it cheats: it’s already been there.
A pair that only becomes yours after you’ve destroyed it. Good luck flipping these deadstock. — The bet behind the disappearing sole
Blue Void, Peach Tongue, « Dawn » On The Label: The Night-To-Sunrise Fade In The Details

The leather fades from Blue Void into black. Night into daybreak, literally, since rassvet means dawn in Russian. The sockliner runs the same gradient, an open nod to the old SB Tennis and the Air Classic. Three sets of laces in dawn tones, from off-white to peach. The Rassvet logo is debossed on the heel, so subtle you miss it on the first look.
The real connoisseur detail sits on the medial side: the Swoosh isn’t leather there, it’s stitched in a dotted line, drawn straight onto the panel. A ghost Swoosh. The rest is standard Nike SB and that’s a good thing: Zoom Air unit, reinforcements built for board feel without touching the original shape, made in Indonesia, product code IO9846-400.
On paper, it’s a thin smooth-leather low-top. In practice, that means a straight-up connection to the board and zero cushion to save you from a bad gap. If you want impact protection, go look at the padded Nike SB models — this Tennis Classic is playing the board feel card.
PACCBET, 2016, Moscow: Where The Brand Behind This Comes From
Rassvet, PACCBET in Cyrillic, launched in 2016 out of the Gosha Rubchinskiy orbit, with skater Tolya Titaev as the driving force and Comme des Garçons handling production and distribution. Ten years later, the brand ships out of Europe, sits in Dover Street Market, and still runs a team that actually films.
Receipts: on June 29, the day before the shoe dropped, Rassvet put out DAWN - 2026, a full Titaev part. Not a thirty-second lookbook with slow-mo. A part. That’s what separates this collab from half the skate-stamped drops landing on fashion feeds. Same gap we pointed out with the first Yuto Horigome Nike SB Air Force 1: either there’s footy behind it, or there’s just a moodboard.
In 2026, Nike SB isn’t bringing back a forgotten silhouette. It’s bringing back proof of tenure. — What the Tennis Classic’s return really says
What It’s Worth If You Actually Skate Paris, Lyon or Marseille

110 € ordered direct from France, free shipping over 150 € within the EU. For a collab with this level of finishing, the price is fair — nowhere near what fashion collabs usually run. And since the pair is still in stock three weeks after the drop, you don’t have to play bot on SNKRS at 9 a.m. on a Thursday.
Which leaves the question that actually matters on Paris concrete: do they hold up? The smooth leather is solid on the flick side, the black suede at the toe eats grip fine, but a thin leather low-top on hot slabs burns through fast. That’s the deal with every tennis silhouette converted to skating for the last thirty years. If you skate five times a week, budget for a set of replacement insoles and make peace with the sole going gray before fall. That’s the whole point. For more mixed use, our read on the Nike SB Air Force 1 Flax Black is still the better fit.
What’s Left Once The Hype Dies Down
Three weeks past June 30, there’s no virtual queue anymore, no resell story at 300 €. What’s left is pairs in stock, soles starting to go pale on people’s feeds, and a Titaev part still making the rounds. That’s probably the best thing you can say about a collab: it doesn’t survive on speculation, it survives on use. Six months from now, the only ones you’ll still see are the ones that got beat to hell.
The Tennis Classic’s comeback also says something bigger about 2026. Nike SB ran the silhouette all summer, all the way to taking the team out to Michigan for three days in mid-July to put it through the wringer for real. This isn’t a niche shoe anymore: it’s the line the brand is standing behind. And Rassvet made the most interesting version of it.
Now we find out which of the two stories actually lasts: the shoe, or the clips it helped film. If you want a reminder of how much a pair on your feet can define an era, run back through our top 5 most influential street parts — it’s all tricks in there, and yet everybody remembers every single shoe.
Would you skate them or keep them clean ? And if you’ve already burned through the sole, tell us what it looks like after three sessions. Drop it in the comments ↓
