Tampa Pro 2026 Results: Jagger Eaton Wins

On April 10, 11 and 12, 2026, the Skatepark of Tampa hosted the 32nd edition of the Tampa Pro. Final call: Jagger Eaton takes the top step. Behind him, Yuto Horigome in 2nd and Kelvin Hoefler in 3rd. Florida concrete handed down its verdict.

Jagger Eaton wins Tampa Pro 2026. The Mesa, Arizona native edged out Yuto Horigome — the Tokyo and Paris Olympic champion, who had to settle for 2nd — and Brazil's Kelvin Hoefler in 3rd.

Qualifiers on April 11: 61 skaters, one shot

The day before the final, 61 skaters fought for a spot. Japan's Kairi Netsuke topped the qualifiers ahead of Colombia's Jhanka Gonzalez and Brazil's Filipe Mota. The full list shows some serious international depth: Japan, Colombia, Brazil, Canada, Argentina, the Netherlands, Denmark, France, Australia and, obviously, the United States. The bar to get in was high — Ishod Wair (New Jersey) finished 4th in qualifiers, Ryan Decenzo (Canada) 7th. Nobody's guaranteed a spot in the final, no matter the name on the board.

An indoor spot that's been screaming for 30 years

Brian Schaefer opened the Skatepark of Tampa in 1993. Two years later, he ran the first Tampa Pro. Nobody in 1995 knew this contest would run 32 years straight. It's an institution: the pros who win here join a short list. A very short list.

Daewon Song. Eric Koston. Chris Cole. If you've never seen their parts — go search "Daewon Song carousel" on YouTube, then come back. These guys won Tampa in different eras and their names still show up in the comments under clips with 3 million views two decades later. That's Tampa Pro: a result here sticks.

The raw format that changes everything

No 100-point scoring system with five judges in button-downs. No sanitized World Skate format. At Tampa: timed runs, a crowd physically right there losing it, cameras six feet from the trick. The footage that comes out of that room has a texture outdoor contests never get. A skater can look invisible in qualifiers and blow the roof off in 45 seconds of best trick. It happens every year.

Tampa Am — the amateur division — runs alongside it. That's where unknown skaters get noticed by the riders and team managers sitting in the stands. Careers have started here. Not on an Olympic stage, not on a TV show: in a Florida skatepark, in front of 500 people and three cameras. That unfiltered format is exactly why Tampa Pro still has a legitimacy other contests lost chasing a cleaner look.

32 years of winners — the names that still land

Running down the full list of Tampa Pro winners since 1995 means running down 30 years of pro street skating. Daewon Song and Eric Koston won here back when street skating wasn't anywhere near the Olympics — their wins hit different because they belong to a time when nobody thought skateboarding would end up on worldwide TV.

Chris Cole, a two-time Tampa Pro winner, stands for a level of technical precision and consistency on the circuit that makes him a benchmark even for kids who never saw him skate live. Nyjah Huston, meanwhile, ran the pro circuit through the 2010s in a way few sports can pin on a single athlete. Multiple Tampa podiums, record prize money, and a media presence that changed how pro skating is seen in the United States.

The handoff to the current generation ran through Yuto Horigome — winner in 2020, then Olympic champion in Tokyo and Paris. In 2026, Jagger Eaton put him behind. That's what makes Tampa Pro unpredictable: even the heaviest favorites can walk out without the win.

Jagger Eaton, 2026 winner

Jagger Eaton comes from Mesa, Arizona. He's been skating since he was a kid and belongs to the wave of US pros who grew up with the SLS circuit and the Olympic pipeline as the horizon. In April, he set all that aside and wrecked the Skatepark of Tampa — over Horigome, over Hoefler, over 10 other finalists who wouldn't have said no to that trophy. First Tampa Pro title for him.
