"SLS" What is it?

The «SLS» = Street League Skateboarding, meaning 'Street Skateboarding League' in English.

The «SLS» is the most prestigious street skateboarding competition in the discipline. Why? Because it's the first one exclusively dedicated to street skateboarding. 

It was founded by the famous Rob Dyrdek. He's an American professional skater, actor, entrepreneur, and TV host, among other things.

The «SLS» started in 2010. Its main goal? To popularize street skateboarding, boost its growth, and get street skateboarding accepted worldwide.

"SLS" Why is it different?

The «SLS Championship Tour»? It's known as the world's very first professional street skateboarding competition.

Since 2010, the «SLS» has propelled street skateboarding forward. It transformed the discipline from independent events into a renowned global series.

The «SLS» also pioneered its scoring and qualification systems. Plus, its premium competition format.

The «SLS» delivers an exciting, captivating event. It's for both amateur and professional skaters.

The «SLS» is broadcast live globally. Events happen on unique, custom-built, «SLS» certified plazas in major cities worldwide. And yes, the best street skaters on the planet are there. 

"SLS" What are the rules?

Participants must perform:

– 2 lines (session) of 45 seconds
– 5 best trick attempts

Scores are out of 10. The 5 best scores from 7 attempts are added up for a final score out of 50.

If a skater hits a 9, they're in the «Nine club». That's the 9/10 club, got it?
