FISE Essonne 2026: 8 skate sessions, only 1 hour that really counts

The FISE drops its ramps at the Essonne Stadium from September 18 to 20. First time ever in the Paris region, last stop of the French tour. On paper, three days of action sports. In reality, eight skate sessions spread between noon and midnight — and one single hour where everything gets decided.

The skate schedule, hour by hour
Good news for once: no time-zone math. The event runs in France, and every time below is already in Paris time — the local zone (Europe/Paris, UTC+2 in September). They come straight from the official schedule page, checked September 17. Contests always run a little loose: show up 20 minutes early.

Friday 18 — the day you watch with zero pressure
| Time (Paris) | Zone | Session |
|---|---|---|
| 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM | Fusion Park | Skateboarding & scooter — practice |
| 2:30 PM - 11:30 PM | Spine Ramp | Open practice, all disciplines, skate included |
Friday, nobody's keeping score. Which is exactly why it's worth the trip: in practice, riders try the stuff they'd never risk in a final. You'll see more bails here than anywhere else, and that's where the real tricks come out. The Spine Ramp runs until 11:30 PM — night session under the lights, no judges, and the sound of wheels hits different once the stadium starts emptying out.
Saturday 19 — five skate sessions, including one at 8:30 PM
| Time (Paris) | Zone | Session |
|---|---|---|
| 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM | Fusion Park | Skateboarding Junior — contest |
| 12:30 PM - 1:45 PM | Fusion Park | Skateboarding Open Women — contest & Top 4 Battle |
| 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM | Spine Ramp | Skateboarding — contest |
| 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM | Fusion Park | Skateboarding Pro Men — qualifiers |
| 8:30 PM - 9:30 PM | Spine Ramp | Skateboarding — jam contest |
The 8:30 PM jam is the session we'd point you to if you only show up for one evening. A jam isn't timed runs one after the other: everybody drops at once, riders cut each other off, feed off each other, and nobody plays it safe. Under the stadium lights, on a spine, at an hour when half the crowd already left for dinner. Best vibe-to-elbow-room ratio of the whole weekend.
Three zones run at once: you can't catch everything

Three areas, three schedules running side by side. The Freestyle Park is BMX only (the Coupe de France runs there Friday through Sunday): zero skate sessions over there, don't waste your time. The Fusion Park is the main park, shared between skate and scooter — that's where the official contests go down. The Spine Ramp is the loosest zone, the one that runs latest and hosts the jams.
Keep it simple: Fusion Park for the titles, Spine Ramp for the footage. If you're coming to film, the spine gives you better angles and fewer barriers between your lens and the board.
Five riders announced, and not one skater
Here's the part that stings. One day out, the only rider list posted on the official site has five names — one in BMX, four in scooter. No skaters. No skate start list on fiseessonne.com, no rider page on the federation site either. For a contest stacking eight skate sessions, that's a strange way to sell the bill.

Scooter, France — scooter Pro Men final right after the skate one

Don't read that silence as a bad sign. At the French FISE stops, skate entries usually get confirmed in the last few days, sometimes the morning of: the categories are open, the list closes late. Bottom line, you won't know who's skating until you get there. Frustrating if you wanted to build your day around one name. Perfect if you like discovering a rider nobody saw coming.
Open Women Saturday 12:30 PM: 75 minutes, battle format

Saturday's Skateboarding Open Women session — 12:30 to 1:45 PM, Fusion Park — wraps with a Top 4 Battle. The four best riders trade tricks back and forth until one takes over. No locked-in run, no points averaged across two passes: pure back-and-forth, settled in a few minutes.
That slot lands right in the middle of the lunch break, meaning the park is as empty as it gets. If you want a front-row spot once this weekend, that's your window. And if you follow the French women's scene, it's the only moment on the schedule where they get the main park.
Where to watch: the honest answer is on site
We looked. As of September 17, no live broadcast of FISE Essonne has been announced: nothing on FISE's Watch Live page (still showing a March 2025 schedule), no live scheduled on the official YouTube channel, and not a word on the event site. For the big editions, FISE streams via MAX / Discovery+ in Europe and its YouTube channel for the rest of the world — but those broadcasters are listed for Montpellier, not Essonne.

So if you were planning to follow the skate from your couch: plan on scrolling rider stories and the replays that drop afterward instead. And if a live does appear last minute, it'll appear there — on FISE's YouTube channel, nowhere else.
The hour that counts: Sunday 2:30 PM

Here's the answer, no runaround. Out of the weekend's eight skate sessions, exactly one decides anything: the Skateboarding Pro Men final, Sunday September 20, 2:30 to 3:30 PM, on the Fusion Park. Sixty minutes. That's all the schedule gives the title on the final French stop of the tour.
Everything else either feeds into it or doesn't: Saturday's 4:30-6:30 PM qualifier filters the finalists, the evening jam counts for nothing in the standings, the Spine Ramp sessions are outside the title. If you only come once, come Sunday: get there around 1:45 PM, the scooter final runs right after (3:30-5:00 PM) and the return shuttles leave every 30 minutes between 3 and 6 PM. One afternoon, the title, and the last train.
Getting there without the hassle

First trap, and the organizers flag it themselves: on Google Maps, the public entrance is rue du Stade, not rue de Paris. Type "FISE 2026" into Waze and you'll save yourself a full lap around the stadium on foot.
By transit: from the RER at Évry-Courcouronnes, bus 4201 to the "Louis Bourdet" stop, or the T12 to "Traité de Rome." From Orangis Bois de l'Épine, bus 4213 to "Marinière lycée." From Brétigny-sur-Orge, bus 4212. Heading home, a shuttle leaves the Essonne Stadium every 30 minutes: Friday and Saturday between 8 and 11 PM, Sunday between 3 and 6 PM.
No parking inside the venue, and very few spots around it — four free lots nearby, the biggest (Hippodrome) capping out at 400 spaces for a festival aiming at way more people. Take the RER, or come early. Tickets are only on fiseessonne.com (some booths stay open on site), with discounts for under-17s, students and disabled visitors, and your ticket has to be scanned on the way out if you leave the site mid-day.
