Prerna, a young girl from a remote village in Rajasthan (India), lives a traditional adolescence full of ancestral obligations and duties dictated by Rajasthani society. She lives with her parents and younger brother in great poverty.
But when Jessica, a young Westerner « originally from London » and director of an advertising company, arrives in the village to learn more about her late father’s childhood, Prerna’s life will be changed forever.
Jessica and her old friend (Jonathan Readwin), who joins her on her adventure, travel by skateboard. All the village children are intrigued, then introduced to the exciting new adventure of skateboarding.
